Name Year/Model Nature of defect
Cory Giebfried 1992 Probe GL Spidering effect around Ford symbol on front fender. On the hatch paint is very faded and has a reaccuring dirt marks even after re-painted, washed, and waxed. Bubbling on doors and hood.
John Hansen 1992 Probe GL, Calipso Green Paint began to oxidise excessively on the top part of the panels in the rear of the car as well as the roof. The clear coat began peeling off and it looked downright terrible.
Justin Phillips 1992 Probe GL, Red The paint on the back of the hatch is fading....and its chipping on the botton in a few places.
Knut Rosenberg 1992 Probe GT, Red (Sweden) I have a red Ford Probe GT -92. (2.2 liter Turbo) and I bought it brand new. From the very first beginning the paint was (and still is) chipping on my hood, roof and sides of the car. (Small and bigger flakes of the paint was falling off.) Where the paint is "chipping" off, you can see a white primer(?) shining trough. Also bad fading and oxidation is observed. Ford (Sweden) does not admit any responsabillity. That is why I or any in my family or my friends will never bye a Ford (or Mazda) any more. (I bought a new Mercedes a few weeks ago.)
Arie Archie 1992 Probe LX On the hood of the car, spots started to show up and get worse with time.
John Franklin 1992 Probe LX Hazing and fading around sunroof and rear deck lid.
