B.G. Worsham 1997 Probe GT, Aqua Small lines in the paint on the hood and headlights. It is under the clearcoat, because they can't be removed. The car has had great maintenance, and lots of waxing. There is also bubbles and chips (not nicks) that are scattered on the nose and also on the hood.

Dave Roberts 1997 Probe GT, Black I am noticing that on the hood of the car, crows feet are developing, all over the top areas of the car i notice that the paint looks as if it is developing spots, and all over the entire car the car has developed more servere than normal swirling that distorts the lights reflection off of the car and makes it look dull. This is very disturbing since the care is very well cared for and waxed on a regular basis.

Jared Meyer 1997 Probe GTS Rio Red/Black Stripes Severe spider checking and crows feet everywhere except hood, both fenders, and front bumper which were all repainted after an incident with a deer. The paint has been nothing but pampered for. Even if it had been neglected, the car is only three years old!!!
David Alper 1997 Probe GTS, Black I have a 1997 Probe GTS (black with white stripes) with severe paint problems. I have crow's feet all over the car, particularly on the hood, and fading. This is despite meticulously taking care of the finish. It is less than 4 years old and hasn't seen any extended periods of extreme weather, so this makes little sense. I tried to get this fixed through Ford shortly after the factory warranty expired and they did not offer any help, but they were nice enough to point out that for just a few thousand dollars they would redo it, and the dealership was proud of the fact that they did a better job than Maaco (as if that is any big accomplishment). National Ford Headquarters was no help at all. My car looks like garbage and it is not even paid for yet.
Lauren Armogida 1997 Probe GTS, Red I have the same problem with all these other guys, my paint has crows feet on the hood and there's nothing i can do. I have a 1997 red GTS w/black stripes and i love my car and i hate to see my paint job ruined.
Dion Griego 1997 Probe GTS, Rio Red I just noticed that I to have the crows feet all over the front of the car. Front fenders, hood, bumper and lamps. This is very disturbing since the car is just three years old and the car is waxed on a regular basis.
Tim Myers 1997 Probe, Laser Red I have (what i think is) crow's feet on the driver side rear bumper. The whole back passenger quarter panel is faded. I need a new paint job. My bumper is chipped from rocks and stuff so i have to get that painted as well. My car is only 3 years old and is fading already.
